Pronounced like Carrie not Car-e, just so you know. I started this business in 2014 after getting laid off from a job that I was starting to feel miserable in and knew life didn't have to be this way. Fortunately for me, it gave me time to reflect and figure out what I wanted to do. I had a background in nonprofit work, event planning and photography but was trying to figure out what that looked like. After a few twists and turns, I ended up starting my business and meshing my love for photography, events and weddings and here I am 10+ years later doing something I love.  To make a greater impact through business, I support and donate frequently to Everytown for Gun Safety. As a gun violence survivor, it's important for me to take this issue head on and support gun reform in every way I can. 

I go to bed excited about my morning latte, I'm very into latte art and have a desire to open up a coffee cart and coffee shop some day. Fall is my favorite time of year next to Christmas. You can win me over with Randy's donuts or taking me out for Sushi. I love photography and have been photographing people and places since I was a little kid. 

I'm a proud small town farm girl from Iowa. I love traveling, the outdoors and camping. Yosemite is one of my favorite places in the world (if you haven't been, please go!) I can speak enough Spanish to get by and hope to one day be completely fluent. I believe wholeheartedly in the goodness of people, standing up for what you believe in and that kindness goes a long way. Thanks for being here and supporting my business.
