A Wild and Sweet Baby Shower

I absolutely love themes for any event! Whether it’s a baby shower, birthday party or a wedding, themes bring a vision to life. It’s all the little details that go into it and all the fun pieces that make it a stellar party. Recently, a friend had a baby shower for her soon to be little boy and the theme was “Where the Wild Things Are”. She created all the decor pieces herself and they turned out to be absolutely amazing! Everything was so unique and true to the book. She hand crafted the centerpieces for tables and added personalized games including “Wishes for Baby”. One of her friends created a piece of art  that says “I’ll eat YOU up. I love you so”. Additionally, she made on-theme party favors that double as little magnets for every guest to take home! Then there were themed banners, cute picture frames around the space with themed sayings, all the way down to the delicious cake. She truly outdid herself for being 8 months pregnant! Alicia is my go to DIY crafter when I need her for an event of mine. She’s got some serious DIY skills!

I was lucky enough to photograph the event. That’s right, in addition to being an event planner, I also do lifestyle photography! Photography is another passion of mine and another reason why I’m so thankful to have my own company.
