How To Plan A Coffee Bridal Shower!

Planning a Buzz Worthy Bridal Shower

What do you do when two of your greatest friends are getting married + you want to design a party? That’s right, you throw a bridal shower! My lovely friend + fellow boss lady, Paige Murray of Hue Creative, is marrying her love, Jon Leyh in July. So naturally, we wanted to shower Paige with love to celebrate this big chapter. Paige + I threw our DIY skills together (you may remember Paige from this DIY project) and with some help from our friends, we to create a lovely coffee shower.

The Invitations

Invites sent to guests for the bridal shower resembled coffee bags and were designed by Paige. How cute is this? The invitation really set the stage for the event.

A Cup Of Joy

As guests arrive, they were offered an array of coffee options from lattes, cappuccinos, french press, or a pour over. Each guest received a personalized coffee cup with their name on it. There was an array of treats available including lots of donuts! (of course we didn’t forget the donuts!) We even drilled the bride to be asking her questions about her fiancé and seeing if she could guess the responses he had! Let’s just say they know each other pretty well!

This girl has a pretty amazing community surrounding her + I’m proud to say that I am one of those people that’s lucky enough to be in her life! Thank you for letting me put my design skills to the test and to create such a special day for you along side our friends! Also, thanks to Stacey, of Create Floral Design for the amazing flowers (and a few I forgot to capture!)

Guest Favors That Give Back

Lastly, we gifted our lovely guests coffee favors from Grounds & Hounds Coffee. The tags read, “Thanks a latte for coming” + “Thanks for bean here!”. Cute, right? At Grounds & Hounds Coffee Co., they are committed to using the sale of their fair trade organic, whole bean coffee to support the no kill rescue organizations providing safe-havens for pups between homes. 20% of all Grounds & Hounds proceeds are donated to their rescue partners working to make the second-chance mission a reality. Every pound saves a hound. Now that’s an amazing cause I can get on board with! Thanks for fueling our coffee addiction, Grounds & Hounds!
