Year 2 was a big year for Feathered Arrow! Wedding season is almost coming to a close for the year and I’m ending it with a New Year’s Eve wedding at the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles. I’m excited for this one because I’ve been with Andrea + Michael almost since the beginning of my business! It’s going to be one gorgeous wedding. As I celebrate 2 years of business, I wanted to say “THANK YOU” to so many people! Especially to my friends and family for your unending support and encouragement and resources so I can be successful. To the vendors I work with and the amazing business friends in my life, you keep my business going. I’m so lucky to have formed relationships with some incredibly talented and kind people in this entrepreneurial life. I only hope to expand this circle as much as possible in the years to come! And lastly, to my clients! You are the heartbeat of this company and WHY I do what I do. I feel so honored to be a part of your wedding days and this season of your lives. Thank you for the kindness, the joy, the love, the referrals and kind words. I adore you all!

This year was my first full year on my own making it as a successful entrepreneur and I couldn’t be more grateful as I reflect on it. I have so many things in the works for 2017. There are a lot of goals and dreams for next year and beyond. So please stay tuned!

Year 2 Recap:

  • Over 20 weddings and wonderful clients!
  • Traveled to Austin and New York for work
  • Meet new clients and friends via Instagram to collaborate with
  • Was able to collaborate and take photos for some cool companies like Sugarfina and Happy Socks
  • Donated to our nonprofit partners to help communities in need.
    • Feathered Arrow helped a family have access to clean water through Generosity Water
    • We helped a family in their adoption process through AdoptTogether
    • A donation was made to United Way of LA to help end homelessness and we even ran a 5k to raise awareness!
    • We helped in the process of building a school for kids in Grand – Bois Haiti through ServeHaiti

These donations to help others in need were because of our clients allowing us to take part in their wedding days. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!! Because of you and the ability to give back is the WHY of this business.

Wishing everyone a Happy Holiday Season and a New Year!! I can’t wait for 2017 and all that’s to come in this crazy industry and life of being an entrepreneur. I hope I can continue to reach people through being a part of their lives through weddings and events, forming authentic community and inspiring people as I serve others through this business.
