A gas company turned loft wedding venue
Kate and Ben’s wedding last spring at The Estate On Second was a little slice of design heaven! Don’t be fooled by the “Southern Counties Gas Company” sign on the building; this space in downtown Santa Ana is ready to party. The open loft layout of Estate on Second meant we could do anything we dreamed of! Because of the versatile space, we were able to flip the ceremony area into a completely new look for the reception during cocktail hour. We also created a non-traditional arch by using a white credenza framed with a dreamy hanging garland, designed by Laura of Poppyhill Flowers. Later on, this same look was used as the backdrop for Kate and Ben’s sweetheart table. One of my favorite on-trend pieces were the geometric flower vases at each table. Even the flower girls carried their bouquets in a triangle basket! It helped to give this wedding a unique, modern spin on florals!
Kate and Ben are one of the most adorable couples I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Cheers to your love!
