A Celtic Inspired Wedding at Green Gates

A wedding in the woods with celtic influences.

 

Megan and Brian’s celtic inspired wedding at Green Gates in Washington was a super special wedding for me because Megan and I go way back to our college days where we used to basically live next door to each other and where our friendship started. I was so excited when Megan reached out to me to help in the planning process for their big day. It was such an incredible honor to be a part of their wedding as more than a guest and I loved being able to help bring the vision of their perfect day to life so they could celebrate with all their loved ones.

The stunning greenery of Snohomish, Washington made guests feel like there was a bit of Scotland around, which is where Brian is from so it made all of the touches of celtic traditions that much more enjoyable! One of my favorite parts was definitely the traditional Scottish kilts the groom and groomsmen wore and the groom organized a bagpipe flash mob during reception!

The whole day was an incredibly fun party and I feel so lucky to have been not only a guest but helping them through the planning process and to celebrate my two friends and their love!
