A Unique and Colorful Wedding at The Grass Room

The rainbow-inspired colorful wedding of your dreams 

Hey friends! I have been so excited to share this bright and colorful wedding in downtown LA with you because it is jaw-dropping! Don’t get me wrong, I love a classic, neutral palette, but I absolutely love it when couples embrace color! (I even wrote a post about ways to add color into your big day). And Christina + Shmuel’s wedding at the Grass Room is a prime example of how you can add multiple shades while keeping things beautiful and not cheesy. Christina + Shmuel both have really fun and eclectic tastes and when they came to me in the very beginning and I saw their vision board, I knew I needed to hop on board! They didn’t want all the traditional things so I was definitely on board to make it their own.

Rainbow Inspired Design 

The most incredible part of the event was the rainbow gradient chuppah. Inessa Nichols created a foliage masterpiece! With the neutral greenery backdrop provided at The Grass Room, the chuppah wow’d every guest. We even decided to repurpose the chuppah post ceremony by hanging geometric shapes with guest names and table assignments, turning it into the escort board. For the reception, Christina wasn’t convinced on one napkin fold, so we decided to alternate between three different folds which I loved doing because it added some dimension to the tablescape. The pop of mustard yellow on every plate was the perfect touch and guests loved the customized folds. The colorful table centerpieces had an almost under-the-sea feel to them, which was the perfect fit for The Grass Room. It was such a beautiful night as guests ate Cool Haus ice cream, sipped on freshly made coffee and danced the night away.
