Hey friends! There have been so major changes happening here for Feathered Arrow and I wanted to update you all with some exciting news: I have a team! I’ve talked about the importance of outsourcing for your business and I reached a point where I decided to bring on a team to give my clients the best, stress-free wedding planning experience! Recently, the team and I took over Venice Beach to have a photoshoot with the amazing photographer, Rachel Stelter. I felt like this was the perfect time to introduce you to Team Feathered Arrow Events:
Kari Dirksen
CEO + Lead Planner
I’m Kari and I’m the CEO, founder + lead planner of Feathered Arrow Events. I started Feathered Arrow in 2014, after a mission trip to Haiti made me realize I wanted to create a business I loved that also allowed me to give back. For every client, I am able to donate a percentage of their fee to a cause near to my heart. It’s been incredibly rewarding in so many ways to have this business and community surrounding me. As the business has evolved, I wanted to flip the planning process upside down and help couples feel less stressed and enjoy being engaged instead of wishing the time away. We help clients create epic celebrations and wedding experiences. Often times our couples are very non-traditional but what’s most important is that our clients create a celebration that represents them!
Since starting my business, I have grown to include photography and a podcast called, The Local Table. It’s been a wild, wonderful ride + I’m so excited to see what the future holds for Team Feathered Arrow Events!
Fun Fact about Kari: I’m a donut connoisseur. Seriously, ask me about the best donuts in LA! (hint: It’s Randy’s Donuts)
Jess Girard
Lead Planner
Jess is my right-hand gal! Together Jess + I work side by side to plan unforgettable weddings for our couples. We love working with creative couples who aren’t afraid to break the mold + have some major fun on their wedding day! If I’m not there at the wedding day, you can rest assured that Jess has it handled. You’ll find Jess on wedding days with a clipboard in hand making sure your wedding day is everything you envisioned!
Fun fact about Jess: Jess is a newlywed! So, she knows first-hand the planning process and the stress that couples feel. Check out her wedding here!
Jodi Hamburg
Office Administrator, Content Manager + Associate Planner
Jodi works behind the scenes most days helping to create and circulate content for Feathered Arrow’s blog, social media and handling our email marketing. You’ll find Jodi on event days assisting Kari + Jess helping make the day go smoothly.
Fun fact about Jodi: When Jodi’s not working, she + her husband spend their days chasing after their two young kiddos.
It takes a village to run a business + as an entrepreneur, I know that Feathered Arrow’s success is a team effort! I’m forever grateful to this fierce team of mine that helps make every client’s dream a reality! Plus, when you work with us, it’s a guaranteed fun time!
