A Daisy Filled Retro Inspired Wedding

When I first met with Lisa + Jeff, I instantly knew their retro inspired wedding was going to be a blast to plan! I’m all about providing my clients with a stress-free wedding. Seeing how fun and free-spirited Lisa + Jeff are as a couple, it was a wedding planning match made in heaven.

Taking a little inspiration from the bohemian 70’s with a hint of mid-century, we created the perfect day for Lisa + Jeff. They wanted something that felt welcoming to all of their guests and I think we accomplished just that. We used wooden tables with mix matched chairs for the reception and topped them with a mix of amber + green glassware. Every table had a centerpiece of daisies and chamomile. It felt so ethereal and familiar, at the same time.

Lisa wore a two-piece wedding dress with daisies in her hair while Jeff sported a plum suit with daisies in the pocket in lieu of a boutonniere. Guests wrote messages of love and advice on stones that they placed on the altar just before the ceremony started. I also loved the vintage phone courtesy of After The Tone, where guests can leave voice messages for the couple! It’s so much fun for the couple to go back and listen to after their big day.
