Romance in bloom
You know those couples that you meet, and you just hit it off immediately? Well, let me introduce you to Caitlin + Brad. Two of the sweetest people I have ever had the pleasure of working with! Their simple yet gorgeous wedding was held in Topanga Canyon at a unique, garden wedding venue called The Mountain Mermaid Inn.
From the initial walk-through, I knew it was going to be amazing. The venue itself is already a beautiful garden, filled to the brim with lush greenery, flowers and a killer view! We knew that we didn’t need a ton of extra decor. Caitlin had a vision to keep the event intimate with personal details and lots of fun geometric shapes incorporated with the flowers. Their wedding was definitely one for the books!
A personal, humbling experience
Honestly, I know a wedding is successful when love is present not just between the couple, but also among the family and friends. I’ve never had so many guests come up to me and comment on a wedding, as I did that day. My heart melted when Brad’s grandfather said to me, “In 73 years I’ve been to a lot of weddings, but this one is by far one of the best I’ve ever been to. So, thank you!” I definitely cried a little! To have the honor of walking with people during one of the most important days of their lives is truly a blessing to me. I love what I do and this wedding was a reminder of why I’m in this industry. I’m about making a special, love filled day for you and your partner, whatever that looks like! Whether it’s in your backyard, on the beach, in the mountains or on a random street in LA.
