Celebrating Love

Valentine’s Day is one of those days where everyone feels a little extra love floating in the air + most girls are off the charts hopeless romantics (I mean, I’ll be the first to admit that I’m a sucker for a cheesy chick-flick. Confession, I already saw the latest one by Nicholas Sparks, called The Choice. I’d recommend it to all the other hopeless romantics out there.) Safe to say even men get into Valentine’s Day, it’s a time to shower the ones they love or finally get the courage or have the perfect excuse to ask that lady they’ve been admiring for awhile out on a date.

No matter what your relationship status, whether you’re single, married, just got engaged, or about to get married. I think we can all agree that Valentine’s Day can be a day where we just show some extra love for those around us + really show those we care about most just how much we love them. Because let’s be honest, everyone wants to know that they’re loved. It just feels good!

A Wedding Mood Board Inspired by Valentine’s Day

In the realm of being a hopeless romantic + being a wedding planner, my job ends up being pretty great. I get to be a part of real life love stories that are meaningful + that carry a lot of weight. And what an honor that is for people to invite me into that space. And because I love designing, I decided to take a little inspiration from a previous wedding I did + add a few more detailed elements to create a mood board for a Valentine’s Day Inspired Wedding. I really love the blush tones with brighter pops of color. And I pretty much eat up anything that is rose gold. These colors make it feel elegant but also makes those important + beautiful details stand out + bring a lot of contrast into the design. In putting the mood board together, I really started liking the idea of a blush bridal gown while her bridesmaids wore white. Different, I know, but I’m really digging the idea. Enjoy what inspires me + hopefully you feel inspired too! Happy Valentine’s Day loves! And no matter what, share some love this weekend! After all, the world needs a little more love!
