A fresh color palette for this chic rustic wedding
I’ve always been such a huge fan of Calamigos Ranch because a couple can really tailor the space to their specific styles. So when Lindsay + Brian decided on the Birchwood Room at Calamigos Ranch for their chic rustic wedding, I was so excited! It’s always fun to see how a couple is going to transform the space to be uniquely theirs.
Lindsay incorporated a dusty, desert inspired color palette throughout the space. It was such a breath of fresh air from the popular soft blush look (which don’t get me wrong, I still love!) We used vintage lace on the welcome table and every guest was given a fabric wrapped honey jar. It felt like the couple gifted these straight from their kitchen and gave the whole wedding an endearing, homey vibe. Each table at reception was adorned with a mix of wildflowers, pampas grass and fruit centerpieces and wooden laser cut name plates for each guest. The muted sunset colors were such a warm pop of color that perfectly fit Calamigos Ranch.
As much as I love a first look, there’s also something very sweet about the tradition of waiting until the ceremony to see each other. Lindsay and Brian opted to not do a first look and their reactions down the aisle are priceless. They took portrait shots post ceremony, which lead to some pretty incredible sunset photos in the canyon. You have to check them out! They look like a dreamy desert photo shoot straight out of a magazine.
Congrats to Lindsay + Brian!
