Dinosaurs and Dinner
I love when a couple puts a twist on wedding traditions! For Elaine and Leon’s contemporary wedding, they decided to not have a wedding party…or even a ceremony! Their number one goal was for guests to have a great time, so they hosted a cocktail hour and dinner at the Natural History Museum and got hitched at the courthouse a couple days before the wedding. Guests were able to explore the museum exhibits and take photos with the T-Rex skeleton! The reception tables had egg shell like vases with greenery and protea flowers all resting on a nest of moss. It definitely fit the theme of the museum and the best part is that the couple made the centerpieces on their own!
I’m absolutely in love with the bride’s high-low style wedding dress! It’s so modern and unique and perfectly Elaine. Elaine later changed into an ivory and gold, feathered ensemble for dancing that totally wowed the crowd. The whole evening was an amazing and fun night with great food, amazing music and incredible backdrops. I mean you just can’t go wrong at the Natural History Museum and all the amazing exhibits that serves as backdrops.
Congrats Elaine + Leon!
