Last Minute Valentine’s Day Gift and Date Ideas

Top tips to planning a birthday party

You can’t hurry love, but you can use Amazon Prime for last minute Valentine’s Day gift and date ideas.

Can you believe it’s already February?? I was just getting all of my Christmas decorations down when BAM– it’s almost Valentine’s Day in less than two weeks! If you’re still struggling for Valentine’s ideas for your loved ones, I put together a list of last minute Valentine’s Day gift and date ideas for you!

Write a book of love

This fun book from Paper Source has pages of guided questions that allow you to write down your favorite things about your loved one. I love that this is a keepsake that you two can browse any day of the year. If this seems a tad overwhelming, try this booklet of little love notes, instead!

Try out an Escape Room

Nothing brings two people closer together than trying to solve a complicated, mysterious puzzle under a strict time limit. No seriously, these are a ton of fun and a great date idea! Escape rooms have really gained in popularity, so there is a ton of options for puzzles and games available. I personally love 60Out but there are so many companies to choose from local to any major city. Go just to two of you, or with a group of other couples for the ultimate bonding experience.

Cooking is the way to the heart

If you’re struggling to find a gift for the foodie in your life, I adore the heart shaped bowls from The Little Market. These would be a great addition to any kitchen, Valentine’s Day or not. Bonus points if you serve up a delicious home-cooked meal and skip the stress of a busy restaurant and traffic. Plus, proceeds from this purchase go towards helping the artisans in the Philippines. Good for your relationship and the world!

Krispy Kreme Valentine Conversation Doughnuts

You may have heard that the famous Sweethearts candy that dominated Valentine’s Day will not be available this year. The maker of this candy recently sold their company and was not able to make the production deadline this year. A delicious solution is to grab a box of these heart-shaped Krispy Kreme’s Valentine Conversation Doughnuts. I mean hello! I love donuts so this one is my fave! Take it from me, there’s no better way to say, “I love you” than with a box of donuts!

Have a movie theatre night-in

If you’re looking for more of a valentine’s date night in, find a fun movie like Bohemian Rhapsody to enjoy together. If this feels like a usual Netflix binge night, take it up a notch with a heart shaped pizza, popcorn and favorite movie snacks. Bonus points if you can find a projector to rent and take the experience outside like in a drive-in! Lastly, turn off your phone. Seriously, no texting while the movie is going.

Simple Jewelry

Jewelry on Valentine’s Day isn’t a new concept but I am totally in love with the minimalist trend that’s happening now. Treat your loved one to something special with a rose gold locket necklace that has a photo of the two of you together! This is such a special way to be close to someone’s heart and bonus points – you can get this lovely locket  for less than $30 with Amazon Prime!

Happy Valentine’s Day to all you lovers out there!
