This Vintage-Inspired Small Wedding Kept Family At The Center
Hey friends! Celebrations these days may be a little different, but that doesn’t make them any less special. If you’re planning your wedding, chances are you’re taking your guest count into consideration. I’m here to tell you, a smaller guest count, doesn’t mean a smaller party! To help inspire your dream wedding, I wanted to share this intimate + small wedding at Triunfo Creek Vineyards I did when I first started my business.
With just 40 of their closest friends and family, Marina + Steve wanted their wedding to feel more like a backyard wedding, instead of a large party where people can get lost in the shuffle. Therefore, they chose the beautiful backdrop of Triunfo Creek Vineyards to host their special day. Guests watched Marina + Steve say, “I do” in front of the classic large tree on the property. The hanging chandelier from the tree was one of my favorite design details! It really elevated the entire experience of the ceremony! Additionally, we used vintage frames and rustic elements like burlap runners, lace and craft paper to add unique textures to the design. I especially loved the old door we repurposed into an escort board!
Family-Style Dinner
It was so important to Marina + Steve to spend time with all of their friends and family, and they wanted their guest experience to be a focus of the day. After a casual cocktail hour, we created a family-style dinner by integrating long farm tables inside of the barn at Triunfo Creek Vineyards. LA Roots Catering placed multiple cutting boards around for charcuterie and appetizers, while everyone waited for the main course. Guests chose their seats and we kept all the flowers and garlands low, to allow everyone to see one another clearly and let the conversations flow! Once the sun began to set behind the mountains, guests enjoyed dancing on the patio well into the night.
