A Romantic + Charming Garden Wedding
Hey, friends! I’m so excited for today’s post! We showed you a sneak peek of Karleen + Ryan’s charming wedding here, but today we’re not only showing their full wedding album; we also have their wedding video! Check it out below!
I love the soft pink, purple and green tones used throughout the event. It truly makes everything feel classic. Not to mention, the mix matched blush pink bridesmaid dresses are truly stunning! If you love the idea but not sure how to tackle it, one great way to do mix matched bridesmaids’ outfits while still keeping a cohesive look, is by sticking with the same fabric style. For example, Karleen’s bridesmaids are all wearing chiffon dresses but with different designs that fit each bridesmaid’s individual style. The flowy dresses also matched perfectly with the light pink gauze table runners we used during the reception.
Another piece of advice I give clients, is to think of ways you can repurpose décor. You can see for Karleen + Ryan, we moved the ceremony arch to behind the sweetheart table during reception and 2 of their ceremony aisle florals to reception tables. Be sure to ask your florist about other ways you can repurpose flowers throughout the wedding day to keep floral costs in check! We also moved their welcome sign to the front of the reception, which is helpful to direct guests when you’re in a large venue space.
Lastly, you probably remember their adorable dog from their engagement photos. For their wedding day, however, Karleen decided to honor their pup and surprise Ryan by having a cake topper made that looked just like their dog! Such a cute idea!
