This Couple Combined a Timeless Color Palette with Stylish and Modern Elements
Hey friends! We’re back with another stunning wedding at Calamigos Ranch for our clients, Nicole and Barry. The great thing about a venue like Calamigos is you can go as big or little as you want. The beauty of the venue speaks for itself and will always be breathtaking, for example this refined wedding. For Nicole and Barry’s stylish wedding, we chose a mix of soft yet modern elements and leaned into their own personal styles. Nicole wore some of the most incredible wedding heels with a structured strapless gown, while her wedding party wore mixed colors of pink, orange and blues. Barry’s side went classic with black suits to juxtapose his stunning white suit jacket. Décor wise, we continued the pink and orange colors throughout the ceremony and reception in simple florals, custom cocktail napkins and place settings.
The Late-Night Party
Later on in the reception, Nicole changed into a white cocktail dress with puff sleeves and completed the look with square toe sling backs; so stunning! Personally, I’m all for the trend of an outfit change during the reception. Especially if it’s an outfit that lets you dance! Other surprises for the reception included offering imported German sausages as a late-night snack to honor Barry’s German heritage. Additionally, Nicole and Barry grabbed two giant Haribo Gummy Bears with a top hat and a pearl veil, in lieu of a wedding cake. (For more unique dessert inspiration, check out this blog post.) Guests danced the night away while Nicole’s sister serenaded the new couple with a song!
