Love truly is sweet
When Jessica + Brian, they told me of their vision for a giant donut wall for their fall wedding at Triunfo Creek Vineyards, I knew they were the perfect clients because they wanted donuts hot and freshly delivered from the best spot, Sidecar Doughnuts. So we paid someone to pick them up that night so guests could eat them freshly made. It’s no secret I’m a huge fan of donuts for dessert. I’ve created a few donut displays in my time as a wedding planner, (you can check out some here and here) but this one was one for the books. We created a gigantic 8ft tall wall full of delicious donuts for guests to enjoy. It was a dessert lovers dream!
For the rest of the design for this fall wedding, Jessica + Brian wanted to keep things light and airy. I love the mixture of pink flowers and succulents throughout all the floral arrangements. For ceremony, we added tall pampas grass to the aisle arrangements to give them movement and texture. The bridesmaids complimented the florals with mismatching blush pink and purple toned dresses, while the groomsmen had a mixture of blue and grey suits. Pro Tip: Repurpose your arch behind your sweetheart table or wherever the two of you are going to sit. It creates a stunning backdrop for dinner photos and you get to make it last all night long. If you’re spending the money on that piece, utilize it as much as you can.
The whole day was a beautiful and sweet celebration of love! Congrats Jessica + Brian!
