A Jaw Dropping Vibrant Wedding Full Of Brilliant Design Inspiration
I am so excited to finally be sharing the colorful + vibrant wedding of Tyler + Casey with you all! I have been gushing about this wedding for months and now I can share Part II of their celebration! If you missed Part I, the rehearsal dinner for Tyler + Casey, you can check it out here. Tyler + Casey chose to get married at a favorite venue of Feathered Arrow, Triunfo Creek Vineyards. (You can see more of our favorite weddings at Triunfo Creek here, here and here!) It was an insanely beautiful (and fun!) wedding and one that I will never forget especially since it was on my birthday.
Mix and Match Masterpiece
I am in love with the unique design of this wedding. Tyler came to me with so many ideas and design pieces but she wanted my help bringing it all together. And I’m so grateful she did! For Tyler + Casey’s ceremony, we used a mix of wooden chairs and even brought in old church pews for guests to sit on. It was a fresh breath of air from the same white folding chair look. We then lined the aisle with bright rugs to warm up the space. Instead of a using a ceremonial arch, Best Day Ever Floral Design used the large oak tree to build a flower installation. We wanted it to look like it was coming out of the ground and growing on the tree. The results are amazing!
New Floral Trend Alert
When Tyler told me she wanted to have her bridesmaids all wear different dresses in different colors, I was excited. After all, we love a good mix-match moment. She told me that each bridesmaid was going to have a bouquet that coordinated with her dress, I was stoked! How have I never considered this before? Each bridesmaid wore a saturated color that really added to the vibrant wedding theme, and every bouquet was a mix of different flowers and textures to compliment their personal style. I’m calling it: this is a new floral trend for 2020. I am convinced that next year, we will be seeing this trend everywhere and I am so ready!
A Play On Color
For the reception, Tyler couldn’t decide between a blush + yellow color palette, or a blue + green color scheme, so I suggested we do both. This was perfect because both palettes paired well with the floral arrangements. We alternated every other table so the overall look wasn’t too cohesive. Tyler + Casey also hand wrote personalized thank you cards to every guest for their seat. Talk about thoughtfulness to the max! The bride even did all the calligraphy and it’s so good! Guests enjoyed a live artist on site, donuts, a coffee cart, cookies, ice cream and even a pretzel bar. Tyler + Casey incorporated all of their favorites for their guests to enjoy and I’m just so insanely proud of how it turned out.
Getting to work with dream clients like Tyler + Casey was a cherry on top of a perfect day! Huge congrats Tyler + Casey! Thank you for being some of the most loving clients I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with!
