A Stunningly Romantic Greenhouse Wedding in Santa Barbara

I love exploring new venues, so when my couple Allie + Andy chose to get married at Dos Pueblos Orchid Ranch in Santa Barbara, I was so excited! I have always wanted to work there and I can never say no to a weekend in SB. The space is so unique and fun, I’m just in love with how everything turned out.

If you’re looking for a venue that encompasses everything “California”, Dos Pueblos Orchid Ranch is the place. Allie + Andy’s ceremony site overlooked the ocean and mountains and it was simply breathtaking. With a view that stunning, Allie + Andy decided to have simple décor and go with the less is more vibe. Fern and Foxtail decorated the arch beautifully and Allie + Andy offered guests parasols as shade. After the ceremony, guests then moved to the greenhouse for cocktail hour and reception, walking through elaborate gardens along the way. We elevated this greenhouse wedding by adding large rattan lanterns to the ceiling with greenery everywhere. As if the wedding had been growing alongside the rest of the plant life. I’m simply in love with how everything turned out!

Allie + Andy decided to have their wedding party in classic black suits and dresses, which I love. While I am a huge fan of colorful bridesmaid dresses, I have to admit that black bridesmaid dresses will always have my heart. They’re elegant, slimming and the color black just looks good on everyone. I also loved the different styles Ali’s bridesmaids choose to fit them best, yet all cohesively work together.
