A Fall Wedding With Geometric Surprises

Hello, friends! I’m excited to share this beautiful and romantic fall wedding that we did last year at one of our all time favorite venues, Calamigos Ranch. (Check out some of our other favorite weddings there on this post and this post). Working with Cristina + Jimmy, I knew because they were such a trendy couple that they would really bring in the wow with their wedding design. And they did not disappoint!

Because it was a fall wedding, Cristina + Jimmy really embraced the deep tones of the season. And you know how much I love when couples embrace color for their weddings! For example, I love the bold blue groomsmen suits against the dark merlot red bridesmaid dresses that Cristina + Jimmy chose. We then used the same red as the bridesmaid dresses for the flowers, but balanced them with white + pink, plus a lot of greenery. We elevated the wedding decor by adding in gold accents from the tablecloths, frames and other pieces of décor throughout. I love how this gave the whole event an elegant + romantic vibe, but without feeling heavy. Especially once all the twinkle lights came on during reception. My favorite décor piece, was the gold hexagon backdrop for the ceremony. It was absolutely stunning against the natural greenery + waterfall at Calamigos Ranch. This piece felt so unique but still classic.

PS – Anyone else get a hint of Angelina Jolie from the beautiful bride, Cristina?
