A Stunning Spring Wedding at Hotel Figueroa

A spring wedding that felt like a breath of fresh air in downtown LA!

Hello friends! I am so excited to finally share with you the wedding goodness for Kaitlin + Jean-Eric from earlier this year! Leading up to this big day, we kept our hopes high that things would calm down and re-open and we were so grateful that Kaitlin + Jean-Eric were able to have their big day! I shared some of their engagement photos in this blog post but now is the big reveal of their beautiful downtown, spring wedding!

They hosted a small gathering for 30 people at Rick’s, an open-air restaurant at Hotel Figueroa in Downtown LA. (If you want to see more spaces available at Hotel Figueroa, check out this venue spotlight post here!) To comply with Covid-19 protocol, all guests and vendors were tested beforehand. To be extra safe, people were offered masks and hand sanitizer when they arrived at the welcome table. Their ceremony took place in front of the cozy fireplace that was adorned with draping florals provided by Blooms Dunn Right and we were even able to live-stream their ceremony to family members + friends all across the world. One thing I loved about their ceremony was how personal it was. This past year, things have felt difficult and disconnected for everyone. However, during Kaitlin + Jean-Eric’s wedding ceremony, they shared trinkets and memories of their relationship and it helped remind everyone of how each of us have witnessed Kaitlin + Jean-Eric’s love grow. Once the ceremony was over, guests moved upstairs for cocktails + dinner.

Kaitlin + Jean-Eric are close friends of mine so not only was I their planner, but I was also a guest! My rockstar Lead Planner, Jess Girard, took point for the day to ensure Kaitlin + Jean-E’s wedding went smoothly. I loved being a part of the planning process, and also having a chance to see every detail as a guest while Jess ran the show. I’m truly thankful I’ve been able to grow my team on Feathered Arrow this past year in order to help more couples celebrate their love!

It was an epic night that was much needed after so much time separated from friends + family. I’m so thankful we were able to do it safely!
