A San Diego Wedding That Proves a Neutral Palette Is Here To Stay!
Hello, friends! You may have noticed a recent trend of bright, bold, colorful weddings on the rise. (And believe me, we do love a colorful wedding here at FA!) However, if that’s not your style, I’m here to tell you that’s okay! The wedding I’m sharing today is proof that a neutral palette wedding can be just as breathtaking + equal parts romantic!
When my clients, Adrienne + Cesar, chose Rancho Bernardo Inn, I knew we were going to create magic. This Spanish-style resort is such an amazing space not only because the architecture is stunning, but there are also plants everywhere. The fresh greenery makes things feel intimate but also gives couples so much room to add their own style! To keep the event feeling cozy, we used a neutral palette of creamy whites and champagne tones with splashes of soft pink hues.
Neutral How-To
If you want to keep your wedding color palette neutral, my biggest tip is to find ways to add a variety of texture. We used pampas grass to line the ceremony aisle and added wooden plate chargers with linen napkins on the reception tables. Additionally, gold frames elevated the signage around the wedding. Also, I love the wax seals we added to the menus. Lastly, Adrienne’s bridesmaids wore long, silky beige dresses to help tie in all the colors.
