A look back at 2024 in my business and personal life

Can you believe we are already in our final weeks of December? I don’t know about you but, these past months really did fly by for me. Every year, I love to take a look back on the year and reflect on everything that’s happened. And friends, 2024 was a BIG year of change for me! I’m sharing the top 3 highlights of my 2024, both professionally and personally, below. (If you want to see how much has changed, I shared my highs and lows of 2023 in this blog post.)

First, I want give my biggest thanks and gratitude to all of my amazing couples from this past year! Feathered Arrow Studio helped 10 couples tie the knot and start a new chapter in their love story. Thank you so much for trusting me and my team with the biggest day of your lives. This was one of our most creative years ever exploring trends, breaking “wedding traditions”, and creating epic celebrations! I never tire of how lucky I am to have a job that celebrates love every day. We’re already planning for our 2025 couples and I can’t wait to take you all along in the planning process. A passion project of mine premiered in 2024 with Just Another Biz Podcast. Together with my work-bestie, Gabby Pinkerton (of ‘Cause We Can Events), we tackled all the business topics, including the ones that are taboo to talk about. (For example, ever wonder how your hormones affect your business? We talk about it here!) We were so fortunate to have incredible guests share their insights as we all navigate the world of entrepreneurship together. My Journey Into Parenthood

My greatest joy and biggest change from this year: I’m a mom! My husband and I welcomed our daughter, Reilly, in the fall and we are head over heels in love. It’s hard to imagine a time when she wasn’t in our lives (and my sweet pup, Dublin, has been the best doggy brother). It’s been months of learning and giving extra grace to myself while we balance parenthood and work, but it’s been an exhilarating ride. I can’t wait to celebrate our first holiday season together as a family! 

Thank you so much to everyone for all the love and support! My business is more than just a job to me and I cannot be more grateful for the life and adventures it has allowed me. There were a lot of changes for us all and I’m excited to see what 2025 has in store!
