This Joyous Wedding Was Bursting With Color + Fun!
Welcome friends! We’re back at The Valentine with another jaw dropping wedding that had us dancing + laughing the entire day! You may recognize Dorna + Jonathan from their engagement photo session so I’m very excited to share the photos from their big, joyous wedding day!
Dorna + Jonathan definitely know how to have a good time! Every person literally danced down the ceremony aisle + they also had flower men tossing petals from fanny packs. Additionally, blending their two cultures, Dorna + Jonathan included elements of a Persian wedding including a Sofreh Aghd. (For another example of this ceremony style, check out this wedding!) I’m a huge proponent of making your wedding day a reflection of you + your partner! Don’t feel like you have to do things a certain way just because you haven’t seen it any other way. We can make space for every part of your personalities, cultures, traditions, etc.
Bring On All The Color!
I really loved all the décor throughout the event. All of the signage felt inspired by a different type of art. The welcome sign and seating chart were contemporary while the table numbers had a different feel to them (they used the drawing from their save the dates), but it all came together perfectly! Plus, all the floral arrangements were a mix of fresh blooms with dried florals in a variety of vessels. Also, Dorna may have one of my favorite bridal bouquets ever! Bold, colorful and full of unexpected blooms? Sign me up! And lastly, while not the original thought process behind the color scheme, the bridesmaid mix matched pink dresses in addition to the disco ball ceremony installation is definitely giving Barbie-vibes, right? Very on trend!
