When A Beach Wedding Becomes An Epic Beach Party

As the summer season comes to a close, I wanted to share this amazing private beach wedding for my clients, Laurance + Jordan. Because nothing says summer wedding season like getting married on the beach! For Laurance + Jordan’s big day, they used a family friend’s beach house with access to a private beach. Their ceremony was small + intimate, inviting only their immediate family members. We set up 10 chairs directly on the beach and created an aisle for Laurance + Jordan to walk down with their moms (and adorable dog, Stevie). They exchanged vows on the sand with the sound of waves crashing in the background and some birds overhead. Talk about romantic!

After the ceremony, the remaining guests joined in for a cocktail hour/reception. Drinks, a taco truck, music, hula hoops, wigs, and a drag performance…the party was on! Everyone danced the night away celebrating! I really love how we were able to create a stress-free ceremony and an epic party that still felt personable to Laurance + Jordan. It just proves that you don’t have to follow “traditional” wedding timelines and you can have a wedding that is truly a reflection of what’s important to you + your partner!
