A Fall Wedding In The Santa Monica Mountains
When my clients, Jen + Stephen, said they wanted to shout their love for one another from a mountain top, they weren’t kidding. They chose the perfect place in a nature preserve nestled in the Santa Monica Mountains. Although, we waited over a year for their wedding to happen due to the pandemic, we finally made it to their big day to celebrate!
It was such a beautiful day with the perfect blend of styles. We incorporated a mix of blue, pink, burgundy and natural wood so it felt like an elevated experience without taking away from the environment. I’m also blown away by the soft flower arrangements created by Pavan Floral. They felt whimsical and wild at the same time. Repurposing Wedding Decor
An important piece of advice I tell my clients is to think of ways to repurpose décor throughout their day. For example, I absolutely love the circular arch Jen + Stephen chose for their ceremony. It looks like it was growing out of the ground and was a stunning backdrop for their vows. We later moved the piece to behind their sweetheart table and it was a great backdrop for the photos!
