This Desert Elopement Is Beyond Chic
Hello, friends! We were back in one of my favorite wedding spots, Joshua Tree! I love a good desert wedding (check out some of our favorites here + here). Therefore, I was so excited when our clients, Cristen + Jason told us they wanted a desert elopement. Cristen + Jason knew they wanted something small and intimate from the start. They invited six of their closest family and friends to watch them say, “I Do”.
My main gal, Jess, was the lead for this day and I am in love with every detail for this elopement. Right down to the custom denim jacket Cristen had made that has “Tucker’s Wife” written in the collar. We took note of the neutral desert landscape and added bright pops of orange, pink and yellow wherever we could. It was the perfect blend of vintage mid-century + modern eras creating one stylish wedding!
Huge congrats to Cristen + Jason on your happily ever after! And friends, planning a desert elopement may seem like a walk in the Joshua Tree Park, but there’s a lot of coordination that goes into it. If you’re thinking of planning your big day near cacti, contact me on my homepage here + I’ll walk you through it step by step! And be sure to check out our top favorite spots near Joshua Tree + Palm Springs!
