This Malibu Wedding Design Was A Breath Of Fresh Air

We’re back at one of our favorite venues, Calamigos Ranch! They recently went through a massive remodel that included some of their wedding spaces and everything looks so amazing! You have to see the fresh, updated vibe that was perfect for Sara + Nathan’s light + airy wedding.
Maximizing Your Minimal Design
Sara + Nathan wanted to keep their wedding simple + fuss free! Starting with a small wedding party that only consisted of 2 bridesmaids and 2 groomsmen, which helped keep the itinerary running smoothly. However, a small wedding party does not equal a small wedding! Sara + Nathan had a larger guest count that they treated with a fresh apple cider fountain, in lieu of champagne. Such a fun twist on pre-ceremony drinks and perfect for fall! Décor wise, Calamigos Ranch is a versatile venue where the couple can choose any design their hearts desire. However, I love how Sara + Nathan leaned into the beautiful nature of Malibu + brought it into their wedding design. Eucalyptus leaves garnished the tables with a variety of stunning white florals. Additionally, the wedding party attire wore soft sage. Custom wooden signage was used for table numbers, drink menus, and even their welcome book had a wooden cover.
Huge congrats to Sara + Nathan on your beautiful wedding day! For more minimal, airy wedding design inspiration, check out this understated wedding, this Bel- Air wedding, this botanical garden wedding + this vineyard wedding.
