A Calming Lavender Infused Wedding at The Seventh Place

This Lavender Hued Wedding Was A Breath of Fresh Air 

I often tell my clients that even the smallest details in wedding design can help set the perfect vibe. So, when my clients, Sarah and Josh, wanted to use lavender tones to create a relaxing, chill atmosphere for their wedding, I was on board! Lavender as a plant is known for its soothing effects on the body, and likewise as a color, has a calming effect on the mind. Using different purple and lavender tones throughout the wedding design in florals, signage and even the bridesmaids’ dresses kept the calm energy flowing through the whole day. Additionally, we added pops of soft pink to add dimension to the color palette. Planning For Summer

With summer weddings in full swing, it’s important to keep you and your guests comfortable during the heat. For Sarah and Josh, because they wanted an outdoor wedding, they specifically chose a venue with overheard coverage to keep the sun at bay. It made for comfortable seating for guests as well as Sarah and Josh during their vows. Other things to keep in mind during a summer wedding can be having an indoor cocktail or reception to give guests reprieve, providing a lot of water and other hydrating drinks, and also passing out fans when you know guests will be outdoors.
