A Vibrant Reception Dinner in DTLA

This Couple Told Guests To Skip The Ceremony And Meet Them For A Reception Dinner

Welcome back, friends! We have another stunning wedding to show you that proves you can have an unforgettable wedding on a budget. We’ve shared a lot of wedding budget tips on the blog before and with the current inflation, it’s understandable why more couples are finding ways to stretch their wedding dollars. My couple, Delphine and Chris decided one of the best ways to have a great party without breaking the bank, was to invite guests to only the reception dinner. Delphine and Chris had an intimate tea ceremony with close family, then secured the event space at Rossoblu, a popular Italian restaurant in DTLA. It not only allowed Delphine and Chris to have plenty of time to soak in the day and take tons of photos (with their sweet dog, Otis!), but they were also able to allocate their funds to all the amazing details for their reception dinner. Making An Impact with Your Wedding Design 

Rossoblu has a neutral space that really allowed the florals in this design to shine. Using vibrant rich hues of red, pink and orange, Inessa Nichols went to town creating jaw dropping arrangements. The entrance to the reception were framed by two large standing pillars covered in bright florals. Then on the tables we used the same floral color themes for the arrangements with maroon water glasses and matching napkins. By keeping everything else neutral, the reception dinner had a crisp, intentional design to wow guests! Additionally, we used trendy 70’s inspired signage throughout. Guests enjoyed delicious food, incredible music and an irresistible ice cream cart late into the evening.
