This couple chose pressed flowers and other elements to ground their nature inspired design
As someone who’s passionate about travel and exploration, I’ve always had a soft spot for weddings with earthy elements. Weddings such as this summer camp themed wedding, this forest inspired wedding, and so many others, I love it when we can combine outdoor elements with wedding design. For my clients, Jordan and Elyse, a combination of casual elegance with nature were the key ingredients their wedding day. From the wooden welcome sign, to the stone etched table numbers, we wanted to use as many natural elements as possible in the design. To bring in more color, we used pressed flowers, petals and greenery inside a large framed seating chart. Additionally, to create dynamic, we chose a variety of handmade ceramic flower plates with rattan chargers and potted plants as centerpieces. Creating A Casual Elegant Reception
Elyse stunned in a modern wedding dress with a short hem embellished with pearls and crystals. She later changed into a sparkling reception dress and sneakers to get the dance party started! Guests noshed on pizza, burgers, fries and other delicious casual eats including ice cream and donuts for dessert. (There was even a cigar bar for those guests interested in indulging).
Huge congrats to Jordan and Elyse on their magical day! If you are ready to start planning your own nature inspired wedding day, contact me on my homepage here, and let’s get started!
