A Modern + Sophisticated Wedding At This Hidden Woodsy Venue

Hello, friends! I’m so excited to share yet another beautiful and sophisticated wedding at the 1909! The 1909 is quickly becoming a favorite venue of ours here at Feathered Arrow, simply because this space can easily transform to reflect each couple’s style! Here at FA, have been fortunate enough to plan this woodsy wedding and this micro wedding, all at the 1909. So when Nicola + Evan chose this venue for their big day, I couldn’t wait to dive in.

Timeless Details

It’s no secret I love a colorful wedding, but there is something so timeless and elegant with simple wedding colors. For Nicola + Evan’s wedding, Nicola really wanted a romantic feel that included dinner under the stars. Therefore, we added candles and blooms everywhere, including along the stairs to guide guests. Additional lighting over the dinner area made it extra dreamy. We included soft blush pink flowers throughout the floral arrangements but everything else was simple, clean and very elegant. This is a combination that just never goes out of style. Additionally, we used a matte black plates with gold silverware for the table settings. I loved this because it gave the reception a modern vibe, without taking focus away from the overall romantic feel. I absolutely love how this wedding turned out!
