A Bright, Vibrant Wedding In A Hidden Forest Venue
I’m so excited to share this bright + vibrant wedding at the 1909! I really love the space this venue provides. It feels like a completely different world outside of the city, but still has the convenience of LA just a short drive away. We’ve been fortunate enough to work a few weddings here including this sophisticated wedding, this micro wedding (pre-Covid even), and this romantic wedding. I knew that my clients, Courtney + Ilan would have an amazing event here!
Color In Bloom
Unlike some of the other weddings at the 1909 that leaned on softer, neutral tones, Courtney + Ilan didn’t shy away from vibrant tones throughout. The florals included bright reds and peaches that brought focus to all the right places. The bridesmaids wore coordinating pink dresses while the groomsmen wore bright blue suits with soft peach ties. (You might recognize one of the groomsmen, Cesar, from his wedding at Rancho Bernardo Inn). Guests were gifted beautiful leather luggage tags that reminded me of how far we’ve come the past two years, and how amazing it is that we can all gather together once more.
