An Autumn Wedding With Dreamy Design Details
Something I really loved about Lindsey + Matt’s wedding, was that even though it was simple and minimalist in design, it was big on the wow-factor. We incorporated clear acrylic elements everywhere from the card box, to the aisle podiums to the seating chart. This truly allowed the bold autumn color palette to command focus. The bridesmaids wore rust colored dresses and groomsmen had matching ties. We used cool grey napkins and deep green blankets for guests as favors. All of these colors tied together seamlessly.
The Donut Wall Of My Dreams
It’s a well-known fact that I am a huge sucker for donuts. They’re simply my favorite dessert. So whenever my clients opt for them as wedding desserts, I’m so on board! Which is incredible because I’ve had some pretty creative clients over the past few years that have taken donut displays to the next level. As evident by this wedding, this wedding, and I can’t forget this wedding! Lindsey + Matt spoke to my heart when they envisioned a giant donut wall with the simple lettering of DONUTS at the top. “You were drivin’ The getaway car”
If you’re looking for ways to surprise your spouse-to-be, take a note from Lindsey and rent a vintage red car for photos! The car she rented was Matt’s favorite! Lindsey took it up one notch with a custom leather jacket that spelled “Mrs. Fitzemeyer” on the back, adding an edge to the whole photoshoot with the car!
