Our favorite wedding venues in Malibu to say, “I do!”
Welcome back to another installment of all the wonderful wedding venues around the SoCal/Los Angeles area to have your wedding! If you missed our other post, be sure to check out our favorite venues in Downtown LA here! Today, I wanted to break down my favorite Malibu wedding venues. Check out the list below!
Calamigos Ranch

I have to start with one of our favorite spots in Malibu: Calamigos Ranch. We have been fortunate enough to do many celebrations here! (Such as this springtime wedding, this fall wedding, this rustic wedding, this Parisian themed wedding and even this rehearsal dinner!) Calamigos Ranch is a staple venue in Malibu and it’s obvious why. The grounds have multiple areas you can choose from for your wedding. Plus there are plenty of accommodations for you and your guests to stay in. There’s even a small river where you can rent a paddleboat. Yes! Calamigos Ranch is truly a beautiful, family owned property with endless possibilities.
Malibu Rocky Oaks
Very few things can compete with Malibu Rocky Oaks. This private estate is one of the more expensive spaces in the area, but when you see the view, you’ll understand why. A vineyard by day, Malibu Rocky Oaks feels like an Italian villa in the heart of California. The ceremony area is a circle that nestles you in the mountains and guarantees a breath taking view from every seat. This is a must-see wedding venue in Malibu!
Saddlerock Ranch

Saddlerock Ranch is another vineyard in the Santa Monica Mountains of Malibu that offers so much to their couples! Not only is the view incredible, but Saddlerock Ranch has rustic charm galore. (Check out this wedding for more rustic wedding inspiration!) With 5 private event spaces available for your big day, the possibilities are endless. One of my favorite parts of Saddlerock Ranch is the famous, giant yellow frame that’s perfect for wedding portraits!
Brookview Ranch
Brookview Ranch is a working horse ranch that was recently converted into a venues space. They have beautiful outdoor ceremony and reception areas, giving your guests a truly magical Malibu experience. (They’re in repair from the devastating Woosley fire in 2018, but plan to be back for 2022!)
Cielo Farms

We’ve been in love with Cielo Farms forever! We were so thankful to work there this past year with this micro wedding. This vineyard has panoramic views of the mountain range which makes it an incredible space to tie the knot. There are so many unique spaces to take photos. However, we highly recommend building a sunset mountain session into your timeline.
Cypress Sea Cove
For a wedding venue in Malibu with beach access, be sure to check out Cypress Sea Cove. Cypress Sea Cove offers a private beach that will make your wedding feel like a tropical vacation. There’s even a spa on site to help you fully relax those wedding day jitters.
Adamson House
If you’re looking for a small private estate with an eclectic flair, Adamson House is your ticket. This historic home has been turned into a museum and is open for weddings and other special events. For any history buffs, this family home has a strong influence in Malibu that can be dated back to the early 1900’s. Adamson House has beautiful Spanish-influenced architecture + tile work, and with a stunning ocean view, this incredible property offers so much for you and your guests. For now, the property is closed due to Covid, but plan to re-open as soon as it’s safe to do so!
Casa Di Peitra

If you’re looking for a Malibu wedding venue that has an ocean view, Casa Di Peitra is an amazing space. A self-proclaimed “chic beachside villa”, this smaller venue can host up to 150 guests for a formal sit down reception. Plus the house itself can be rented out for you and a few of your closets family or friends.
