The days of having bagged jordan almonds as gifts are going by the wayside and in their place are fun, creative ways couples are showing appreciation for guest attendance. Below are a few ideas of my favorite guest favors that you can incorporate into your wedding!
Edible Guest Favor Ideas

When it comes to guest favors, one of the biggest hits for guests is offering them something delicious! If you’re looking for ways to help your budget, combining your guest favor with your dessert is a great way to cut back on an expense. (Guests especially love something sweet before they hit the dance floor!) Here are a few yummy guest favor ideas:
- Candy Bar (or you can get married in an actual Sugarfina store like this couple!)
- Cotton Candy Cart
- Donuts (in any form, in a box, on a wall, in a tower…you cannot go wrong)
- Customized cookies (this couple gave guests cookies in the shape of their home state!)
- Olive Oil + Balsamic Vinegar bottles
- Honey jars
- Bags of coffee beans
- Little boxes with candy or macaroons, etc
- Bottles of hot sauce
Weather Contingent Ideas

Sometimes the weather has a mind of its own. No matter if you’re planning your wedding for summer, fall, or maybe even the middle of winter, giving your guests options to keep them comfortable throughout the day is always appreciated.
- Blankets
- Fans or parasols at the welcome table
- Umbrellas at each ceremony seat
Eco-Friendly Favor Ideas

We recently talked in depth about ways to make your wedding more eco-friendly and it made me realize just how many great guest favors also help lessen the waste a wedding can have! Here are a few of my favorite eco-friendly guest favor ideas:
Mood Invoking Ideas

If you want guests to reminisce about the fun they had at your wedding, give them a seemingly everyday object they can add to their homes. They’ll think of you + your love whenever they reach for it!
- Live painted portrait
- Lock + key circa the Parisian love-lock bridge
- Luggage Tags (this also can double as a great seating chart idea)
- Body Scrub
- Scented Candles + Customized matchbooks
Other Guest Favor Ideas

- Hangover kits
- Hand Sanitizer
- Party-in-a-box for zoom attendees
Friendly reminder friends, while I love a good wedding favor, they are optional! If you’re not feeling it and want to save some cash, don’t do it. Guests won’t notice and will truly be happy celebrating your big day! If you want to give a little something, a good compromise is having welcome bags available at the hotel for out-town-guests, or you can pass them out at the rehearsal dinner!
